Scott Pommerville joined Spiteri & Ursulak LLP in August 2017. Prior to joining our team, Scott practiced in tax litigation with a boutique tax law firm. Scott’s practice focuses on corporate law, commercial leasing, director’s liability, CRA dispute matters and civil litigation.
Scott has litigated matters before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court. He has assisted individuals and small to mid-size companies with their corporate governance and tax dispute related matters. Through preparation of contracts, commercial leases, shareholder agreements and corporate structures, Scott addresses his client’s business and personal needs.
Efficient and client focused, Scott takes pride in being quick to respond to clients needs and requests. He is fiercely dedicated to his clients’ rights and works tirelessly to ensure that they are protected. The focused approach to the client’s needs and assisting them to understand the legal process is what helps Scott build strong relationships with his client’s.
Scott is a graduate of Carleton University and the University of Kent. He was called to the Ontario bar in January 2016.
Currently a member of the County of Carleton Law Association Membership Committee and the Advocacy Club, Scott is in a continuous pursuit to hone his skills. Giving back to the community is something Scott is proud of, he has coached minor hockey, serves meals at the Ottawa Mission and has competed in the ring at Fight for the Cure events.
Scott calls Ottawa home after moving here from British Columbia. Outside of the office he enjoys travelling, hockey, and hiking.
